Powering the Digital Future of Marseille

Some projects are built to serve people. Others are built to keep an entire digital world running. MRS6 Data Center is one of them.
At Pierre Dammous & Partners, we’re proud to bring our Mission Critical engineering expertise to this major digital infrastructure project in Bouc-Bel-Air, Marseille, one of the world’s leading internet hubs.
Developed by Digital Realty, MRS6 will add approximately 20,000 m² of IT space and 50 MW of capacity, strengthening the region’s digital infrastructure and supporting the growing demand for secure, reliable cloud services.
But scale is only part of the story. Sustainability is at the heart of the project, with ambitious targets for energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon reduction.
Our role is to provide the MEP design for this highly demanding environment—where reliability, efficiency, and resilience are not optional.
It’s exciting to see a former logistics warehouse take on a completely new purpose and evolve into a state-of-the-art sovereign cloud hosting facility, planned for 2028.
We’re grateful to Critical Building for entrusting PD&P with this important assignment, and we look forward to seeing MRS6 take shape.
